March is Ag Recognition Month “Ag Energy On to the Next Level” Kossuth / Palo Alto County Economic Development Corporation, along with the Ag Committee and area ag-related businesses, are hosting an Ag Energy Day on Wednesday, March 11th from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Wild Rose Casino in Emmetsburg. Registration begins at 8:15 a.m. and will include lunch. The theme for this year’s event is “Ag Energy On to the Next Level”. The event will feature topics on ISU’s Bioeconomy Initiative, Iowa Energy Center’s cutting edge technologies, energy management in grain systems, USDA energy grant programs, fundamentals of siting a wind facility, and microwave technology as an alternative to traditional drying of distiller grains and other products. |
