On March 10, 2016 the Iowa Legislature passed HF 2433, which expands exemptions on supplies and consumables for Iowa manufacturers and producers.

Mid Iowa Growth Partnership will be hosting Chris Gallo from BerganKDV to explain these exemptions on April 27th at 9am at ICCC East Campus.

Chris Gallo, Sales and Use Tax Manager

As a Sales and Use Tax Manager, Chris Gallo spends his time researching state and local sales tax laws and codes across the country, performing in-depth analysis of compliance for businesses concerning state and local tax, as well as sales tax audit defense. With this specialization, Chris is able to offer clients peace of mind knowing their businesses are operating in compliance with state sales and use tax.  With a bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa, Chris holds additional experience in business finance, budgeting and strategic growth consulting. In his free time he enjoys hunting, fishing and golfing.
