The Mid Iowa Growth Partnership utilizes the LocationOne Information System (LOIS), which is a cyber-database that allows users to search for specific information such as building or site characteristics, utility services to the property and contact information can all be found in the system.  The database also features community and county information including demographics, transportation, taxation, quality of life and more.

The LocationOne database tool allows users to share data — anywhere, anytime, anyone can search by building, site, locality or county.  And, users have the ability to customize a search by a number of variables including building size, acres needed or specific location.  LOIS is consistent with the National Data Standards, developed by the International Economic Development Council, which allows the comparison of sites using similar data.
