Coming off a successful year, the North Central Small Business Development Center is looking to offer additional services in 2017.

Stefanie Koenig, regional director of the North Central Iowa Small Business Development Center, said there were a number of highlights for the center in 2016.

“Things are going really well,” Koenig said. “We brought Kimberly (Tiefenthaler, business counselor) on board. Our partnerships are continuing strong and we’re continuing to bring more on board.”

Those partnerships include Iowa State University Extension, which allows the SBDC to use its space for offices, as well as banks and community colleges in the 10 counties the SBDC covers.

That includes Iowa Central Community College, in Fort Dodge.
