30 Years in Business W&G Marketing Co., of Ames, a specialty meat processing and trading company, celebrated 30 years in business. The company was started in 1979 by Marvin J. Walter and Jerry Grauf and has grown to include a sales office, cold storage and wholesale warehouse in Ames, and processing plants in Jewell and Sidney. The Certified Angus Beef barbecue was chosen by the National Cattlemen's Beef Association as a finalist for best new beef product for food service and retail. |
